Outfit Snap: Otome Style: Attempt 1

My mum, sis and I took a bunch of aunties and a couple of my cousins for a sari-shopping spree today!

I was feeling bored while getting ready, so I thought I'd throw on of my IW dresses.

Otome Style: Attempt 1

It isn't one that I would wear without a blouse (especially with the sunburn marks on my shoulder from Bali last week - yikes!) but I couldn't find the one cutsew I like with this dress, so I tossed on an old turtleneck cutsew that we bought in Japan nearly 8 years ago.

Since it's only a casual outing, I decided to skip the socks and petticoat since the turtleneck is already so warm. I wanted to curl my hair and wear a headbow, but there wasn't enough time, so I put my hair up in a bun and used a BTSSB hair gomu (you know - those hair tie things? This one has a brown bow attached to the hair tie). Shoes were chosen for the colour.

Accessories were simple pearl earrings - nothing on the hands since I didn't want any rings to snag on the sari beading! The bag didn't really match the outfit, but it was a convenient kitchen-sink type bag so.... XD;;

Um please excuse the mess behind me - I left in quite a rush this morning, and I actually haven't unpacked since coming home from Bali!

Outfit breakdown:
JSK: Innocent World
Cutsew: Offbrand
Shoes: LK Bennet
Hair Accessories: BTSSB and fennel (fake hair bun XD;)
